My Own Sparkle
4x6 print of a digitally-colored hand wearing an absurd amount of jewelry. Originally drawn in ink on paper at Hart Jewelry store in Charleston, SC during Alt Muse Co's Happy Hour. At Hart Jewelry Store, I met one of the employees, Grayson, while she was altering a personal charm necklace. I noticed that she wore a lot of jewelry from head to toe, and I found that to be rather unique and interesting. I was enticed to draw her hand, so she gave me permission and posed it on the counter for me. She told me how she was often called "The Wind-Chime" by her friends when she walked into a room, or how her parents didn't understand her fashion choices. I'm drawn to authenticity in people, and she was who stood out to me that day. (does not include frame)
